weekend away

Well, I didn't have a photo to post today...
So I decided to check out the archives.

Just gotta face the facts of real life I guess.

These last few days here in south Texas have been amazing.
It feels like fall!!!!! God is so good to me!!!
The temps have been hovering between the high 60's and low 70's,
it's been raining (which we all know that we need),
the doors and windows have been open!
We busted out the footie jammies for both kiddos last night.
And it just FEELS like fall!!! Thank you God for the great feelings~
Now, if only it would stay like this...

I am off for the weekend to the Texas District Pastor's Wives Retreat.
I'll be heading to Camp Lonestar again for the whole weekend.
I'll be leaving today around 2:30ish and be back sometime on Sunday.
I am very excited for a little "me" time and time with other women
who are in my shoes and have walked this path before.
I'm looking forward to seeing some of my PW friends and getting to know
more PW's. I'm looking forward to being without kiddos for the weekend.
You all know I adore my kids and would do anything for them, but everyone
needs a break every once in a while. I'll miss my sweet hubby lots too.
You know what they say, absence makes the heart grow fonder.
Well, that's all I have for today.

If I have time today I'll post something for tomorrow with photos of all the paintings that I will be trying to sell at the retreat. If they don't sell it's no big deal, that just means I've got a head start on Christmas presents~
