On Wednesday afternoon, Dana, Doug, Emily and Michael and Doug's mom Karen came from Houston to spend the night and hang out with us. They came for lunch and then went and did the touristy stuff around San Antonio while I stayed home with my napping kids and packed! It was so nice to have them here and for them to be able to see the place we call home! We are so grateful for their help on Thursday morning because it would have taken us twice as long to pack the car if no one was playing with the kids. Thanks for coming over N family we had a blast!
Thursday: we left home about 10:00 headed towards Plano. The trip went really well. Naomi was kept busy with some white board erase markers and a little book and Micah just played with little things here and there. The other big hit was the cookie sheet and magnetic alphabet letters. We got to Kimi and Scotts about 3pm and it was great for the kids to just run around and play with Matthew. We had a super yummy dinner and the daddy's gave the kiddos baths before bed and then we just spent the evening talking, playing on the computer and drinking TruBrew. It was a GREAT day with friends!Totally overexposed but I still love it.
