a week

We had a GREAT week with Casey here and we're so glad she came. We did lots of fun stuff and got some time to just sit around a little too...which is what one should do when they are on vacation. After two days at the beach we just laid low on Wednesday, playing outside and running to the fabric store (oh and I got to pick up my camera!!! yay!).

Thursday morning Casey went with Greg to church so she could attend his Bible class. Then the kids and I picked her up and we headed downtown so Casey could see the Alamo and the riverwalk. It was raining all morning but we toughed it out and just got wet! We got the kids home for a late nap and I was able to go to Costco to get groceries while Casey stayed with the kids. Jordan came down that evening and we took them to our favorite place for BBQ! The Bucket Brigade! YUMMY!

Friday morning was just lazy at home and then we went to church to have lunch with Greg. Casey's flight was supposed to leave at 2:30pm but they called around 12:30 to say the flight had been cancelled (there were storms again on Friday). So she got to hang out a little longer. Her flight left at 5:30pm and she was back in WI by 10:30pm safe and sound. Casey, thanks so much for taking your Spring Break to come visit us! We had a blast and are so glad you could experience a little of our life her "down south"! Can't wait to see you again next week!
