Micah is a great supervisor and should be able to get a job with the city real easily.
I don't know if I've ever made a gingerbread house before...with Naomi being a little older this year and understanding what is going on around her we're making a bigger effort to do more Advent things to get her prepared for Christmas. Although she still thinks Christmas is just the tree she does talk about baby "Jeus" a lot. She also loves to play with Mary and Jofeph and she cannot stand the fact that Christmas lights are not on ALL DAY LONG! We made a chain out of paper to count down the days till Christmas, we do Advent devotions and light the candles on the Advent wreath...she loves to blow out the candles but we never realized how hard that is for a little one to learn. Those of you with small kids, did your kid have a hard time blowing out a candle? She finally gets it now but it took a while. We love preparing her and in the meantime preparing ourselves for Christ's birth. We know it will only get more special as she and Micah get older and can really understand the awesomeness (is that a word?) of Christmas. So, we made a gingerbread house and we are now having a hard time keeping little hands off. Is it okay to eat the gingerbread house? Well, I guess if you're not trying to be the winner of the "biggest loser" then it's okay...right? Anyway, here's some shots of our house building adventure.
