crafty day

I had a very crafty day today. Which was lots of fun. I made a gift for little baby Xavier. I'd show it here but I want Rachel to see it first in person. Once she gets it I will post the picture. Naomi did some finger painting and I also made a little wall art for Naomi's room. It is something that I had seen somewhere a long time ago and I was like, "I can totally do that". So, today I was determined to totally do that. I bought the crayons and got to work. It was a little more time consuming than I thought it would be but it turned out really neat. I am willing to make more. If you think this would be a good present for someone let me know...I will make more! And, if your child gets this as a gift at Christmas don't be totally surprised. Now, the picture is of the letter but it's not a finished product. I plan on writing Naomi's name in cursive up the right side of the N. I also plan on finding a shadow box to frame it in. I may post another picture when I get it all done. For now, here you go. Oh and one more thing. Are the points of the crayons distracting? Would it be better without the points...or do they add character?
