who needs it anyway

Tuesday, April 29, 2008
After being in lots of pain this morning Greg took me to the ER. It appears that I have gallstones and will have my gallbladder removed next Wednesday (May 7th at 10:45am). I guess it's not really a necessary organ (is it an organ?). It's right up there with the spleen, one kidney, the apendix...what other organs do we have that we don't "really" need and why then do we have them? It's an outpatient surgery so it shouldn't be too bad, but if you could keep me in your prayers, I'd appreciate it!

We will be praying for you. That's what I had to have done a month after Alyssa was born. Apparently it happens a lot to pregnant women. Yay! Lucky us!!

Don't worry it's not to bad. :)

Weird. I had to have my gallbladder out last April. It's not too bad. I'll be praying.

Sorry to hear about this! Hope the recovery is quick! By the way, Jon would be offended by your implication that the spleen is not necessary...he's still mourning the loss of his! :) We'll be praying for you!

Yikes-I'll keep you in my prayers. My mom had the same surgery and thankfully, had a great recovery. I will pray for the same for you.
