snow day hat and mittens pattern review

Monday, September 30, 2013
I was so excited to see that I was chosen to be a pattern tester again for Amy from Peek-a-boo Pattern Shop. I love her patterns. They are easy to understand. Easy to sew and fun to wear...well, at least my kids think so! I am planning on making some of these hats for my big kids too but I need to get more fleece first! This is Snow Day hat and mittens pattern is great though and truly something that can be sewn by newbies and veteran sewers alike...the best part is when you use fleece you don't have to hem anything or double fold anything because it won't unravel!!! If only I could sew all the clothes I make with fleece! ha! Anyway, just wanted to share a little more of my fun sewing adventure! I think the next thing I will sew for the kids is the Alex and Anna winter pj's. Since we usually do matching pj's for Christmas I'm excited that I'll be able to make them for the kids this year...that is, if I get my act together and start sewing more in the evenings!

The weather isn't quite ready to make us wear winter hats yet, but these girls will be ready when it does!
