Have I told you lately how amazing my hubby is?
I am so grateful that he works so hard so that I am able to stay home with the kiddos.
I am so blessed to have a man who is firmly rooted in Christ.
I am so blessed to have a man who is the spiritual head of this house so that I can fall into my role as wife and submit to his leadership (how God intended it to be).
Things are not always easy for him...
I mean really, when your job is to be concerned about the spiritual lives of 800+ people how could it be easy?
When your job is to preach the word of God with the correct balance of Law (shows us our sin) and Gospel (shows us our Savior) your life is not a cake walk.
When your job is to provide care for the hurting, sick and dying how do you have time to think about yourself?
When your job is plan Bible studies, events and fellowship activities where people can get to know their Savior and their fellow Christian brothers and sisters it is not merely a simple task.
When your job calls you away from your wife and cute kids how can it not get frustrating and lonely?
So I just wanted to take this opportunity to say thanks honey!
Thanks for being such an AWESOME husband, and father.
Thanks for being such a transparent, caring Pastor.
Thanks for being you. I love you for you!
We will jump over these hurdles (some mentioned above and many kept private) with our eyes on the Cross and know that His will is being done in our lives. He LOVES us unconditionally and won't let us fall from His hand. He's got us babe, He's holding on to us, we need to trust in His promises and collapse into His arms of love.
