to the zoo with you

The other day I asked Naomi what she wanted
to be when she grows up.
"A monkey" she said.
"And Jake, and Sophia and Joshua and Amy will
all be monkeys with me"
Sorry Amy!
So we talked about how she would have to live in the
zoo if she were a monkey, she seemed okay with that.
She even told daddy at dinner that I was taking her to the zoo.

So, I decided it wouldn't be a bad idea.
We went to the zoo and I decided that we would take
a different route and go to the Tot Zone and check it out.
I'm so glad we did and I can't believe we've never been there before.

They have a little building with lots of fun stuff inside
(that's where most of the phots are from on the collage)
They have an underwater area where you can see all sorts of fish.
And the coolest thing is this little "river/beach" area where
the kids can play in the sand or go swimming.

Man, I wish I knew about this sooner, but I'm also really glad
that we found it now. I will be taking the kids back there soon.
But I'll take their suits and a towel.
I was not prepared today, so I sorta bypassed
that area and hoped the kids wouldn't ask to go in.
Micah did however walk through the little river
where they were fishing inside.
I guess he wanted to go to the other side and didn't feel like
walking all the way around. I can hardly blame him!
