Sunday after Greg got back we headed up to Waco to see Bob, Sandy, Kristin and her boys, Liam and Silas. Kristin was in town for a week so we went to spend the night and hang out. We had a blast!Trinity (the church where Bob is the Pastor) has put in a new playground area for their pre-school and our kids loved playing on the playground and swings.
We tried to get Liam and Naomi to share a room but that wasn't happening. The kids were up really late because of this but we all survived. Once we were up and ready on Monday morning we headed to the Carmen Park Zoo in Waco. We ate lunch and then walked around the entire zoo. This zoo puts the San Antonio zoo to shame. It was a well laid out zoo with lots of animals and really neat exhibits. The kids had a great time running around and looking at all the animals!

The little boys were tuckered out by the end of the zoo.
Then we went to the Dr. Pepper museum. We didn't think going on the tour would be a good idea so we just went to the little shop and the cafe part. Dr. Pepper floats are really good!
Then we went to Baylor to see the bears. There are two bears in a "habitat" there and Naomi, Liam and Micah loved looking at the bears...and running around again.
We had dinner with Bob and Sandy and then headed home. Thanks so much Bob and Sandy for your hospitality and for spoiling us on Monday. We had a great time and can't wait to come and see you again sometime soon! Next time we head to Waco we want to check out the Texas Sports Hall of Fame, and head back to the Children's Museum.
