birthday party

We had Micah's first birthday party on Saturday with the staff from church and their families. We enjoyed some time socializing, eating, watching Micah devour his cake and playing cornhole. It was a very fun evening when we could all relax and be ourselves. Micah really had a blast eating his birthday cake and was really pretty clean about it even though he ate almost all of his mini cake. He was willing to share a few bites with his dad and sister though.

Micah didn't waste any time. As soon as the cake was in front of him he started eating. He dug right in and didn't worry about "asking for permission" like Naomi did when she turned one. It was so fun to watch him discover this cake!
