WoW! Can't believe that my little girl is two! TWO! Where has the time gone? Everyone always tells you that kids grow up fast and they are right. The days are slow but the years fly by. Well, my sweet little girl is growing up fast and learning more and more everyday. Here are a few examples of how she's growing.
Talking: We had a list going of all the words that she could say before she turned two. Well, I stopped updating the list after 200 words and once she started just repeating everything we say. She still has troubles with the "L" sound and the double letters like "DRink" is just "dink" for example.
Growing: She is pretty much right on track, she's wearing a 2T but could probably get by better with 3T dresses because most 2T's are a little short for my taste. She is getting more teeth but still does not have a mouth full. She's got three molars and about 9 other teeth...some are just partially in. Her hair is growing lots and she's yet to experience a haircut.
Activity: The little girl loves to climb. Daily she tells me, "me climb mommy". She loves to play ball with daddy. She loves to play dress up and read books. She loves to give hugs and kisses. She loves to play in her sandbox and sit in her car. She loves to be outside. She loves to play her new "pano" from auntie Julie and loves to SING!!
Temperment: I think I told Greg yesterday that I felt like I was dealing with a moody teenager. She goes from perfectly happy to throwing a fit in no time flat. If she doesn't get what she wants she'll let you know it. But at the same time, she's pretty easily distracted and I can usually get her mind off "what she wants" and get her excited about something else. She's generally very happy and loves to just talk and play...and she'll talk all day long if she were awake all day long!
Sleeping: She still sleeps about 12 hours at night...but naps seem to be getting shorter. If she naps for an hour...it's a good day. Trying to figure out how to change this a little bit because she's acting like a moody teenager (see temperment) when she hasn't gotten her rest.
Well, I don't know what else to say about this little girl except that I love her to pieces and I cannot imagine my life without her. My life would be much more empty without her to fill my days! Here are some photos from each month of the last two years. Enjoy!
