Greg has had two softball games already. Can you people up in Wisconsin imagine already having two games under your belt? It would be softball played with snowballs probably. Well, anyway, on Friday it was 96 degrees here so Greg decided to play softball in shorts, which he normally doesn't do and may never do again. There was a ball hit down the left field line in foul territory and Greg slid to catch it. He did make the catch but also got burned! The ground has been very dry here lately and this is what happens when you slide on the dry ground in Texas! Bummer!

Not just in Texas Jamie. Gene had the same thing happen twice last summer. Just had it healed up when he decided to slide again. Needless to say now he at least wears long socks if he decides to wear shorts when playing. Holly
