I'm back one more time before we leave on vacation. Ah...vacation! I am looking forward to it. I am not, however, looking forward to the cold weather. It will be fun to see Naomi's reaction to snow! Grandma bought her a coat and she can borrow cousin Andrew's snow pants so we'll have to let her play in the snow and see how she likes it. I however, will not be playing outside too much as my coat does not zip around my belly. I may have to borrow Greg's!

This week have been fun, nothing too exciting...just lots of catching up on things and getting ready to leave. We've also had a fun time doing laundry since our washer is broken. We washed it at church and then brought it home to dry. It would be so much easier if ours was working. Anyway, we do have clean clothes, I know you were worried so I thought I'd tell you! HA!

Friday night was the young couples/singles Christmas party. Greg and I decorated the parish hall, got some food ready and were ready to have a good time. There were about 15 people there and the youth came to watch the kids so we could all enjoy ourselves. We played the family version of Cranium and had some good laughs. We also did a white elephant gift. We had a good time and can't wait to do more couples/singles outings! We have some friends from church who are our age and are foster parents. They had been waiting and waiting to get a child. Then they finally got one, a little girl, they were told she wouldn't be with them very long but now it's been longer than they thought. About three weeks ago they were given two brothers, so now they have three children. Can you believe going from no children to three over night without ever being pregnant. The ages of the kids you ask? 16 months, 3 months and 2 months. They aren't getting much sleep in that house. But they are loving those kids and giving them a warm loving home which they must not have had before. So, we're asking ourselves, what can we do for them? Well, we thought about it for like two seconds and came up with dinner and diapers. So I'm going to work on that one, see what I can come up with and then shower them with just that. Except it will be after Christmas. I'm gonna see who else I can get to help too!

I felt pretty lousy on Saturday so I did not end up working which was nice because I'm still not completely finished with the Christmas presents that I am making, and I had more time then to work on them.

We did our little family Christmas celebration on Saturday after a delicious ham dinner. The ham came from some members and it was SO yummy! Greg got me the Deceptively Delicious cookbook. I still plan on giving Naomi veggies since she'll eat them but this way we can add some veggies and other fruits to the not so good stuff that we already eat...making it a little healthier for everyone! He also got me Photoshop Elements 6! I am so excited and can't wait to play. I had been using Photoshop 7 till January when our computer crashed and then I had to go back to Photoshop Elements 2.0 so I'm excited about the upgrade! I got Greg some tools and a shirt/tie combo! We got Naomi a little phone and a discovery toys thing too. She loves to open the presents. She would tear a little piece of paper off and hand it to whomever was closest! It was cute.

The Boesslings came to San Antonio tonight so they could go to the Riverwalk and see the lights. The spoiled us and took us out for dinner! Thanks so much you guys it was great to spend some time with you!

Here's some pictures from the last few days! Enjoy and have a BLESSED CHRISTmas!
