the rest of the trip

We made it home safe and sound around 10pm on Sunday night. The rest of our vacation in Wisconsin was nice. We got to spend some time with family and friends and help my dad celebrate his birthday and Father's Day at Texas Roadhouse. The card played a song and dad couldn't hear it unless he put it up to his ear. How old are you going to be dad?

Yee Haw! Happy Birthday Dad! What a good sport he is~ My sister, Tracey and I, at Texas Roadhouse celebrating dad's bday and Father's Day. Greg preached at Divine Savior on Sunday, there was a little reception for him and then we had dinner at Pastor's house with a couple of people from church. It was nice to be able to say goodbye to those people who have helped us so much with their gifts and prayers. Sometimes I didn't know how we were going to pay some of the bills or get groceries and then the check would show up out of nowhere. God is good all the time and He knows what we need and when we need it! Here's Naomi playing with Sam, who is Pastor's grandson.

We are doing lots of packing this week as we need to get most of it done in four days. We'll be back in Wisconsin on Friday night because Greg is getting ordained at Grace on Sunday. Join us if you'd like...the service is at 3pm. There is a meal afterwards also...you know us Lutherans nothing is complete without a big meal!
