home sweet home

Here is a picture of our very "texan" looking home. It's a little odd looking but I kinda like it! We know, we know, no windows in the front of the house but it is very open inside because there is an atrium right when you walk in the front door. This house has three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. A covered patio and shed outback, two living areas, a dining room, kitchen and breakfast area. We are excited about our first home and cannot wait to see if it's really going to be ours.

We went to San Antonio and looked at about 8 houses on Monday. We were ready to put an offer on a different house on Tuesday morning when we found out that someone else had already put an offer on it. We had prayed for a roadblock if we weren't supposed to buy that house and we felt like that was it. We went out and looked at one more house and that is the house we put an offer on. Our offer was accepted later that afternoon and on Wednesday we went back to the house and had an inspection done. So, lots happened in a short amount of time. We're excited about all the little things that come with owning a home...many things we have yet to know about.
