micahs birthday

We had a great time celebrating our little man. Greg took him out to breakfast as is tradition, then he had a great morning at school and a fun afternoon playing at home. We enjoyed having grammy and papa spend the afternoon/evening with us as well. Here's the little man with his gifts.

I decided at the last minute to make Micah a quilt blanket with the "cars" fabric that I've had for a while. I've been meaning to do this for a while...what better time than the night before his birthday right? So it's not the most fancy quilt but it works and he loved it...plus it's got that really soft minky fabric on the back so that's a bonus!!

Naomi was hard at work making a card for Micah. I love how she draws people...

They love playing with his new dinosaurs!

 We've decided to let the kids pick the menu for their birthday dinner...(it's expensive to take everyone out to dinner)...so this is what Micah chose. Corn dogs, green beans, bacon mac and cheese and fruit ka-bobs!
