While on vacation we got to spend two days in St. Louis.
I love St. Louis.
I miss St. Louis.
The free zoo, science center,
the Muny, Ted Drewes, the Cardinals,
the list goes on and on.
One other thing that is awesome about St. Louis
is the friends and family that we have there.
Greg lived in St. Louis when he was young and most
of his extended family still lives in the area (from his moms side).
So when we go back there we get to spend time with cousins,
aunts, uncles and second cousins.
Rachel and Matt moved back to St. Louis a year ago
after spending a few years in Colorado.
It's great that we get to see them when we go back,
and our kids love playing with theirs.
Rachel is a photographer in St. Louis so we knew that
we wanted to swap photo sessions.
So we just played it by ear with the kiddos and did the best we could.
Rachel got some great shots of our family and I can't wait
to share some with you.
I feel like I failed Rachel because I wasn't able to engage Xavier very well.
He wasn't in the mood for getting his photo taken,
but I did what I could...and I got some great shots of Rachel
and her little guy Jordan.

I've only been to St. Louis once, but I loved it and would love to go back someday.
