the simple wife

I stumbled across this blog while blog surfing... I've been searching a lot lately about simplicity and organization. While this blog is not really a how-to blog it jumped out at me as one I will continue to read. I noticed that she was asking her readers if they'd like to do a book study with her. Although I'm not the biggest fan of book studies (mostly because I never have time to actually finish a book), this one looked different and good and like something I might actually read.

While Greg and I were out on our last date for a while last week we stopped
at the Family Christian Store and I picked up the book and a new devotional by Jen Hatmaker. I've started reading both and I'm very excited. I'm excited to join the book study because there are so many more things I want to learn about mentoring. Not only the mentoring that I have going on with Katherine, but I'm interested in mentoring younger women too...and I'd love to have a spiritual mother...maybe someone from church? I've got some people in mind to ask but I want to read more of the book first!

Anyway, I just wanted to share my excitement about this new book study that I'm going to join in on when I get time and I may be posting things here from time to time about the study as well. Maybe you can learn right along with me.
