She started playing with Micah's highchair tray and then said, "I'm going on my own retreat and I'm going to sell Micah's tray.", "Maybe Micah can buy it".
It'd be a bummer if Micah had to buy his own tray don't you think?
She's been telling me (and Wanda on Tuesday) that when she gets bigger she's going to put me in time out. I asked her what I did to deserve a time out and she said I didn't listen to her. Sounds like what I'm saying to her all the time. Maybe I should go to time out right now. Doesn't sound like a bad "ideda"!
Naomi found some acorns and she knew she wasn't supposed to eat them and that squirrels did eat them, so she asked if she could take them home and feed them to the squirrels. I told her that would be fine. Then she asked about planting the acorns and wondered what the flowers would look like. So, I told her that the acorn would make a tree (if anything) and not flowers. She then asked if we could plant them and grow a tree...I told her that it didn't rain often enough and the tree would have a hard time surviving. She thought about it for a minute and then said, "we can get some of the sinks water for the tree". Smart girl!
