crazy times are here

This week has been a little bit crazy...but fun nonetheless. Monday was our Christmas party for the college students. However, most of them thought the meeting was at 7pm and not 6pm. So we ended up with two trays of subs leftover. Yum! Greg took one to school and we ate the other one for two meals a day for three days. I'm happy to say they were good but I am glad to not eat Subway for a little bit. Tuesday, Greg had a basketball game and Naomi and I made the trek out to watch the game. Greg had 7 points!!! but they did not win.

Wednesday I went to Peace to see some friends and to have lunch with Tammy the Office manager who is also my friend. I stayed down in South County because there was dinner and then church to follow. Greg had the sermon and he did a great job. He's going to be a great pastor! Do you ever want the floor to open up and swallow you? Well I did during church on Wednesday and it had nothing to do with the fact that Greg was preaching. I never take my cell phone into church with me and this is why, it never fails that if I do, I forget to turn the ringer off and someone calls me. The college cell phone rang and I wanted the floor to open up and swallow me. Not many people knew it was me because they didn't turn around but one lady did...ugh!

Thursday, Greg had another basketball game but Naomi and I did not attend the game. He played good and they had fun but still were not victorious. Today, I took Naomi to the dr. for her two month check up. So we're two weeks late who's counting. She now weighs 12lbs 2oz and is 23 inches long. She is now in the 75 percentile. The dr. said she's looking great and we just need to work a little more on her tummy time. Naomi also got three shots today and that was not fun. Although I have to say she did really good, and was able to calm herself down pretty easily. She slept most of the day today and is in bed now...hopefully for the rest of the night. Greg went to some bar with his buddies after school and basketball practice and I probably won't make it till he gets home. We've got intramual stuff tomorrow and hopefully a relaxing day on Sunday. Next week is going to be a little more crazy but I'm ready for it! Bring it on!
