our weekend

so it's been a little while since I've been on this here blog. We've been having some good family time and that has been away from the computer and great. We spent a few days in Indiana and were able to introduce Naomi to a bunch of our friends in Seymour and able to see family in Indy! We had a great couple of days. Friday we stopped for lunch in Bloomington with Jen, Eric and Asher...it was so great to see them again! Friday night we were even able to hang out with all the couples that we used to play cards with. Saturday morning I took Naomi to the pool to meet some of my old swimmers. Then I took some pictures of my friend Tara and her daughter Taylor. I'll post some of the pictures when I get them back. Saturday afternoon we watched a lot of football and spent time at Pastor's house...it was a very relaxing day and people were able to come and go as they pleased and lots of people got to meet Naomi. Sunday we went to church and then had lunch at Applebee's and then made our way to Indy. We had dinner at Holly and Gene's and played some games. We watched Extreme Makeover Home Edition because one of my college roommates aunt and cousins got a new house. Her uncle had died of a rare form of cancer and his family got a new house. It was an emotional episode...but aren't they all!? We spent Monday afternoon relaxing and that was needed and awesome. Our trips to Indy and back to St. Louis were great and Naomi did awesome in the car, she's such a good traveler.

My parents came tonight and we're going down to the farm for Thanksgiving. Then we'll spend some time here with my parents. Next week Greg starts his next quarter at the Sem. Only two more quarters and he'll be a Pastor. Where does the time go?!
