"Ever have anything in your home that is just priceless, something that you adore and would hate to part with (no, not your family)? I think we all have some sort of thing that has a deep meaning to it, maybe a family heirloom."

I received two of my most prized posessions at my wedding four years ago. They are both very special to me but for different reasons. My most treasured posession is an afghan that my grandmother made for us and it was a gift at our wedding. She passed away in March of 2002 and we were married in October 2002. It was such a surprise to recieve such a special gift from her even though she was not there. My grandpa was there to give it to us, there was not a dry eye in the room when we opened it. So this afghan is VERY special to me. My grandma was so thoughtful that she made enough afghans for all her grandchildren for when they get married. My other favorite thing that would be missed if it was gone is a painting that my best friend did of Greg and I for our wedding. She painted one of our engagement pictures. I know this could be replaced if something happened to it but I don't want to think about that. I know it took Julie lots of time and love for this painting to get done and I love everything about it.
