Greg, my dad, Brad and Coach Keiper went golfing in Menomonee Falls. For some reason Greg beat my dad. This has never happened before. Dad just wasn't on his game I guess. But they had a good time and it was good for Greg to be able to talk with Coach more and to get out there and golf...it'd been 6 weeks or so.
We had lunch, and then Eric, Catherine and Catherine's parents came over for lunch shortly after that. It was good to see them again. After lunch we just laid low and relaxed a little bit before the evening would begin.
Heather, my cousin who is six months older than me, and I had a combined baby shower with our family and friends. She is due August 30th...and was looking great. She's ready to have the baby any day now!
It was fun to have our family there and to celebrate this with them. First they all took onsies and drew on them for the little ladies. We had a great dinner and then they made bingo sheets for the gift opening part of the evening. Heather and I got many matching outfits for our little ladies. We can't wait to have them wear them at Sarah's wedding weekend and show them off. We got lots of great gifts and cannot thank our family and friends enough. My grandma was able to come to the shower too which was very awesome. My aunt Tina brought little cousin Noah along also! It was so great to see him again.
It was awesome to celebrate with all those people! It was great to have my best friends, Katie and Julie there too to help celebrate!
After the baby shower a bunch of us went to the Brewer game. The guys had gone down earlier to the game so they got to see the whole game. They actually got free tickets from some guy so that was nice. We didn't have to pay for parking since we got there so late. And our tickets were only $5. We got there in the middle of the sixth inning and the game was tied. But in the end the Brewers won, so it was a good game to see. William is the Vicar at my home church now and he was in Greg's summer Greek class (in 2003) and we spent a lot of time with him the first year at the sem. But then he went to Brasil and so was a year behind us then. But we got to spend some time with him and got to meet his wife (from Brasil), Ana. It was her first baseball game and Greg loved being able to explain all the rules and what was going on in the game to her. We had a great time at the game and got to hang out at home a little bit after the game.
