My cousin Heather is getting married on October 8th. I am super excited for her... and excited for the wedding. The last time our whole family was together was for my grandfathers funeral. It will be good to see everyone and to spend some time with them. I love my family, they're great and they're hilarious. So many good memories. When we get together we like to watch the video from "Christmas '85" It's a classic in our family. So many quotable moments and hide your face can't believe you did that moments. My family is spread throughout the United States now, where when we were younger we all pretty much lived in Wisconsin. Now we're in 7 different states. Heather is having her mother be her matron of honor, which is very appropriate. I am her personal attendant and a reader. I am looking forward to being part of this exciting time for Heather and Chris. The reason I am writing all this is because I have made a scrapbook for Heather and I wanted to share it here. (I hope she doesn't read this) It's a small cardboard book that I painted and put pictures on, it has openings throughout the book so that made it a little challenging as far as the layouts go. But I think it turned out okay. It was the first scrapbook of this kind that I have done. So let me know what you think...and after the 8th I'll let you know what Heather thought. I am also going to be making a small scrapbook for Chris and Heather that they can fill with pictures...Heather's really into scrapbooking as well so it'll be a good gift. I'll post pictures of that one after the wedding just in case she comes here ever. So enjoy the book and let me know what you think!

jamie, i love it, and i think that heather will love it too. it makes me think that you could remake any kids book with those thick pages into a scrap book. what a great idea. you rock. can't wait to see you at the reception. i'm afraid that i may miss the wedding because it's the same day as the conference tournament, but i'll definitely be there in time for some eating and dancing
