we made it

Well, we are officially HOOSIERS! But not in the sense of the word that people who do not live in Indiana think of it. We just happen to live in Indiana. We have no appliances on our front lawn, we have no construction barrels anywhere in sight. Just a nice large Victorian home to live in. It's blue. It looks like a giant doll house...I guess that would make Greg and I dolls. Well, fine, as longs as I get to be Barbie. Anyway, we are unpacking our millions of boxes...wait...we're not really. More than anything we are moving our millions of boxes around...and around...and around. We have been blessed to live in a furnished home so we will not be unpacking all our boxes. No kitchen stuff...some of our framed pictures but not many...Greg's books will be at church...bedding is provided (but the sheets are itchy so I might dig mine out). It's all here...everything we need and then SO MUCH MORE! I'm not kidding though this house is huge and gorgeous. It's a dream house...but my dream houses have never been THIS BIG...man, I need to start dreaming bigger. We are enjoying setting things up and getting settled. The first box we unpacked...can you guess? I'll give you $100 if you can guess...wrong...it was the TV. We got that set up...that reminds me the DISH NETWORK guy was supposed to come today. He's got 45 minutes to get here before his time runs out ("someone will be there between 12 and 5pm) how can they really get away with that. Telling you to hang out at your house cuz someone might show up to get your dish hooked up but they won't give you the slightest clue as to what time they will come. It's a good thing that my only plan for the day was to unpack boxes. But serioiusly. Okay, I'll stop being so random. We got here and then we looked down the street and the youth group was coming (okay not all of them but about 15 of them) to help us unload the truck...along with the pastor, youth director and some other people. How awesome is that?!! The new curse word was "third floor". People did not like to hear that we wanted some of the boxes to go to the third floor...it's a long way up there...not to mention the narrow steep stairs. But we survived...got the truck unloaded in an hour. It was incredible. I hope to get some pictures of the house on here real soon. You've got to see this place. My camera battery is charging and then I gotta find the cord to download the pics from the camera to the computer. That could potentially take a long time. So don't hold your breath for pictures but they will come soon. Okay, I'm done for now. I've got more boxes to unpack. Job interview tomorrow...she said she can't tell me whether I have the job or not till the manager gets back in a week and a half but it's a step in the right direction! Oh, it's at the Family Christian Store in Columbus (about 25 miles north of Seymour). Have a great day and I'll write more later! May God bless you richly according to your needs! YOU ARE LOVED!
