old friends...new marriages

So Greg and I made a really quick trip to Wisconsin this weekend. We left Thursday night after he was done working and made it to WI by 11pm. Friday morning I got to hang out with Katie and my buddies Trysten and Maya. The four of us then went over to Steve and Kari's house. It was great to see Kari and meet her boys and to see Kristy and see her son. They all played well together. They got some birthday cupcakes and it was just a great time. I might share some of the cupcake pictures later...they're so cute. Then I went home did some stuff and then got ready for the wedding. We drove to the wedding...were a little late but saw it all. It was a great service. Then we got to talk to a bunch of old friends whom we haven't seen in a long time. Brandon and Camille make a great couple...Brandon is one of Greg's baseball guys so Greg got to see lots more of his baseball guys. I got to see an a great friend, an old roommate, some other good friends, my "little sister", and some of our favorite professors. It was good night. And it gets better. My brother and Catherine flew into Milwakee because they were going to his 10 year Highschool Reunion. So we got to see them as well. We left this morning at 6am so Greg could come back and work a half day. It was a great quick weekend. Now it's back to Indiana...the heat, the job, the house and the job searching. I think I might just be waitressing at Applebee's. Should be an interesting year! Take care and God bless.
