dmv, car washes and the zoo!

Well hello everyone in blog world! It's been a while since I have written and I am sorry if anyone has come looking for something new and found nothing. It's been busy around here! So I thought I would take this opportunity to tell you what's been going on in my life! The week of the 19th was pretty good. On Wednesday morning Greg and I had to go to the DMV to get him a new drivers license because he lost his when he was in Texas. That was an all morning affair. It turns out that he had to go and take the written test and the driving test in order to get a MO license. It would have taken too long to get the Indiana DMV to tell the MO DMV that he was a licensed driver....go figure. So anyway, since we were there I decided to get a MO license too. WIERD! I cannot believe I did that. It is so weird to pull out my license and see MO on it. Anyway, I worked hard on Thursday to make up for missing the morning on Wed. Because there was a lot going on this past weekend at church and stuff. Friday I went over to Tami's house to babysit while she went to the doctor. She is very ready to pop but is not due until the 10th of October. So we hung out after her appointment and then Greg and I went out for lunch before he left for Wisconsin. He was preaching last weekend at Grace...our home church. Friday night, Angie, Mark and I went to see Without a Paddle. I thought it was really funny, and it had a plot. I thought it was much better than Anchorman. But some people will probably argue with me about that comment but that's okay. Saturday, we had a car wash at HandyMan Hardware. It was a beautiful day! I even got a little sunburned. We wash between 60-70 cars and made lots of money for our mission trips! After that Kristin Woehr and I went and got some Rolly Poly wraps, (which are really yummy) and she told me all about what's going on in her life. It was a good time to talk and really get to know what was going on in her life! Kristin you're a great girl and don't let anyone tell you different. Saturday night I just hung out at home and watched some TV before going to bed really early! Sunday was awesome. We had mission Sunday, so we talked about all the mission trips and what we are going to do next year. It was so great to see so many people excited about what we are doing! Then Angie and I went to the zoo. We had a great time but we both agreed that we need kids...cuz we liked to do the kids things...like sliding down the slide through the water and watching the kids play in the water! It was a great time and I got some great pictures! Greg got home late on Sunday night and said that he had a great weekend. He got to have lunch with my dad's family because they were celebrating my grandma's birthday....and my aunt Tina is pregnant and due in December! I am so excited to have a new cousin! So yeah, it was a great weekend! I went over to Angie's last night for a stamp party and that was fun too! I love to make cards and be creative and all that fun stuff. Well, anyway I know for some of you who were with me all weekend that this was a boring post since you already knew what went on all weekend so I am sorry. I don't have any funny stories to tell right now! So have a great week and know that you are loved!

Jamie,
I thought I would comment on this blog, since I thought it was appropriate for the day. I love how you said that you and Angie both need kids. Now your oldest is 5 today! :D Also I still miss seeing you and Greg! Next time both of us are in MO, we should get some Roly Poly (it relocated to Arnold)!

Love,
Kristin

P.S. I goggled my name, that how I came across this post :)
