Here's another one of those stories that breaks my heart. Again, death separates us from our loved ones and this is not as God intended things to be. God intended for us to live in a perfect world without sin or death but once sin came into the world along with it came death and separation. Romans 6:23 states "For the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord." Praise be to God for His gift of eternal life. By grace, through faith, we are reassured that we will see our loved ones again (Eph. 2:8-9).
This sweet woman lost her husband a little over a year ago. It was sudden and unexpected. These sweet girls lost their dad, and little sister never even got to meet her dad. This breaks my heart. In the face of such tragedy, we come to appreciate the glory of the hope that is in Christ Jesus, who is the resurrection and the life! Even more, stories of dad will be told to his dear children. Memories will be shared and his legacy will live on through his family.
I don't hear anyone who has lost a loved one say, I wish we would have taken fewer family photos. No, its quite the opposite. Find a professional who will take their time, get the shots, but also make it a fun experience for you. Not only will you have some great photos to preserve these memories but you'll have the memories from the photo session itself. I had so much fun with these four ladies and I am so honored that they allowed me to help them capture these memories and create new ones.
